Jason Bear is holding a sign which reads "Welcome" on one side and "Go Away" on the back.

These are wonderful handmade bears, full of personality, great as a conversation piece, and fantastic gifts!!

Each carving is hand carved from western red cedar and redwood using primarily a chainsaw.

No two are ever exactly the same! This means that your carving will have its own character and personality. The smile may vary a bit, the shape of the nose may be slightly different or the texture of the wood might differ from bear to bear. This is simply a part of the creation process and the reason that Rainy Day Bears has been so successful.

Each one of our carvings has been finished to the highest standards. We recommend displaying the carvings inside however every item in our line has a minimun 3 coats of marine varnish which with proper care will provide years of enjoyment in outside settings.
